Directions for use: Warm up a little bit of oil in your hands and then massage your breasts using light circular movements. Do this for five minutes two to three times a day, approximately half an hour before each feed. You can also massage your breasts throughout the breastfeeding period if your breasts feel taut, which can bring relief. You can start massaging once a day from the 38th week of your pregnancy. Always keep the nipple and areola free of oil. If the milk is flowing satisfactorily, you can stop massaging. Especially for: mothers who are breastfeeding or are going to breastfeed, and who want to stimulate this process. Tip: To protect your nipple while you are breastfeeding, you can apply Calendula Wound Balm on to your nipples. Or: Make sure that your nipples are nice and dry after feeding, this prevents chafing. Some people even use a hairdryer to make sure the nipples are dried properly. While the baby is drinking, it is important that the nipple lies on the baby’s tongue, otherwise it will press against and close the ducts through which the milk flows, increasing the chance of inflammation and chafing.
